The Ambient Orb is a device that slowly transitions between thousands of colors to show changes in the weather, the health of your stock portfolio, or if your boss or friend is on instant messenger. It is a simple wireless object made by Ambient devices, that unobtrusively presents information.

To try and spread fire awareness a Missouri organization has started to create a firefighting emergency vehicle. The idea is to take a vehicle that really should have been on the scrap heap, do it up, make its sparkle and then driving around in it to let people know about fire safety.
